AboutMe

Her Nature Garden is a garden and flower photography journal from Shanghai, China — created by a photographer who finds quiet beauty in the city’s parks, botanic gardens, and the small green corners most people walk past.

In her spare time outside of work, she returns again and again to the gardens of Shanghai — from sprawling botanic gardens to hidden courtyards and quiet neighborhood green spaces — camera in hand, patient for the light that makes a single bloom worth a photograph.

At home, the passion doesn’t stop at the lens. She and her family rent a ground-floor apartment with a small garden of its own, and every season she orders seeds and bulbs, plants them herself, and watches the little plot change through the year. Growing flowers from seed has become its own kind of photography — slow, attentive, full of small daily surprises.

“One day, a house with a garden of her own.”

Her dream is simple and stubborn: a real garden to design, plant, and photograph for the rest of her life — not a balcony, not a rented patch, but a home where the garden is part of the everyday.

The eye for gardens reaches far beyond Shanghai. Traveling through the United Kingdom, Japan, Singapore, Thailand, and beyond, she seeks out the local gardens and plant cultures of each place — the structured formality of an English garden, the calm restraint of a Japanese moss garden, the lush tropical density of Southeast Asia. Every trip adds a new way of seeing plants and light.

In China, this quiet work has already found a real audience. On Xiaohongshu (RED), a community of more than 15,000 followers returns for her calm garden videos and photo stories.

Her Nature Garden is where the journey continues in English — a slow, quiet place to look closely at flowers and follow the garden as it grows, season by season.
